Reflection

While sitting down and brainstorming ideas, I really aimed to create an immersive, diverse film mixing various footage, transitions, and sounds all to create a meaningful film about our Earth. Climate change is real and everywhere. In the video, the girl listens to the news constantly about climate change, yet she still makes no move to change her actions (like how she wastes water and energy from the fridge). She also complains about the increasing temperatures (that come along with climate change). Although climate change is all over the news and the signs are everywhere, many do not take it seriously until they experience it one on one (she experiences these effects in her dream, and then finally realizes she needs to change). Even in the media now, climate change is the talk everywhere. Everyone knows about it... yet people are still not changing. And frankly, I was one of those people too. I never paid much attention to the talk of climate change, thinking that it was just another boring story. However, after creating this project, I realized how serious the harsh effects of climate change are. But it's NOT too late to change now. We still have hope. Do not wait until we have to experience the worst effects. Do not wait until all the glaciers melt. The Earth is dying, calling out to us in tears to save her. But there's still hope. One person can change the lives of seven billion; but we must start now.
