Reflection
This is a shape poem of a dolphin telling about his home. I’ve always liked dolphins and am constantly amazed at how gracefully it can swim. I think effects of noise pollution is something not as easily seen as other types of pollution like plastic or oil spills, but it is there. Every creature has a story to tell and a way of life. In some ways, the noise pollution is taking their voice away. I imagine the dolphins screaming “help” in his head, so I tried to put their thoughts into a visible shape. Something we can see. I think about when we have problems, it is usually because of selfishness, and not listening to the needs of others. When there is an argument, instead of yelling at one another, if we listen, we might be able to understand their point. In this case, us, humans are yelling and not listening to the need of the ocean. An easy way to start helping would be to calm down and listen.
