Nest of Hope

Reflection
I drew this artwork for the Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest because I wanted to highlight the theme of hope and new beginnings in the face of environmental challenges. The young girl in my painting cradles a nest full of birds, symbolizing care and resilience. Even though she has lost her own home due to the pollution and destruction caused by nearby factories, she still chooses to nurture these fragile creatures. This contrast between her compassion and the harsh industrial landscape serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of human activity on nature. Through this piece, I aim to show that even in difficult times, we can find ways to help and protect the environment around us. It reflects my belief that every small act of kindness can lead to positive change and inspire others to take action for a healthier planet.
