We all know that ocean pollution is a serious issue, but do people take action and try to figure out solutions? From the look of it, people are too numbed to face a life-threatening situation. In my artwork, people are relaxing at the beach and drinking. However, they do not realize the waste under them, and they proceed with their daily ritual. It clearly reflects the desensitized perspectives of people about waste such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, and oil. As we continue using plastics and producing more waste, we will cause the world to collapse, which will affect humans. The ocean has the capacity to support human activities, and someday the collapse will come back like a boomerang effect and punish people.
