Reflection

Ocean acidification is one of the most dreadful, ongoing problem in today’s society, which is mainly caused by the uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This is strongly linked to climate change because the negative aspect of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere created by factories and use of electricity disrupts the natural order of ocean life. A great amount of the CO2 from human activity is released into the atmosphere dissolves into oceans, rivers, and lakes. The human face that appears when the picture is turned to the side shows how us humans contribute to those problems. Our greed and wasteful mindset are destroying the environment. We cut down trees, which are necessary to reduce pollution, and dump plastics that leach into the ocean. When climate change occurs underwater, seemingly only affecting the marine life, we don’t identify the problem because it is not directly in front of us. However, we must acknowledge the problem before it is too late. It is time to be responsible for the world we live in and take an action to preserve it.
