I drew a painting about how dirty ocean is and how it's going to effect on our future. I am a high school student from Korea who studying in New York right now. If you see my work, you can see two big masses of plastic trashes and one seagull is standing on one of the plastic mass. And those two mass of plastic trashes look like a drowning man which represent human can kill themselves to throwing trashes in the ocean, and I put a seagull that standing on the trash to show that trashes are becoming a part of the ocean. I got inspired for this piece from an ocean gyre that gather all the trashes. I learned about ocean gyre and problem of plastic in ocean in school, and I inspired from it. This work made me think more about ocean and how serious it is, and I hope people who see this painting think same as what I thought.
