I decided to make a stop motion video because it is my hobby. I got to know this project while searching for film contests online. I wanted to redeem myself because I did not go to Districts in the NHD project. As I was doing this project I knew plastic pollution was a major environmental problem. However, I never knew that it this big of a problem. This contest made me realize that I had to reduce my plastic consumption. Everywhere I look, I see plastic and what they can do if they end up in the ocean. Overall, this contest made me realize that plastic pollution is a more serious problem then I thought.
