Reflection

Water connects everything. When water gets polluted upstream, the water quality downstream will be affected. Pollution in water sources can harm the health of plants, animals and humans. The use of large amounts of water in upstream will also cause a decrease in the availability of water downstream. In my illustration, I want to show how imperative water is. Screws and glass shards stabbing and plastic bags strangling the heart both reflect the damage and destruction caused by pollutants in the water to all living things. These objects all originate from human development and the Industrial Revolution. While the pursuit of a better quality of life for humans is with good intent, the improper handling of wastes can harm our environment and ultimately deplete our resources.
