Reflection

My theme of this piece was inspired by global warming in the Arctic and Antarctic ecosystems in the form of a digital poster. I'm extremely interested in the arts because I can express my ideas and insights better than when they are written and because I can give viewers the image in my head and create an impact on what they see. I was happy to be able to spread awareness about significant problems that need to be addressed immediately. My message to my viewers of my art work is to save energy, reduce carbon emissions, use low-carbon travel and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. After doing research on climate change, I have learned that humans have released a surplus amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This causes heat to get trapped in the atmosphere which makes global temperatures rise. Glaciers and icebergs that the animals in the north and south poles live on start to melt and the rise of temperatures in the sea is also gradually threatening the marine ecosystem.
