Reflection

I wanted to express how society treats climate change, like it's something in a museum to be looked at. Problems arise all the time and with social media we could have a big impact, but climate change is often treated like a trend. Art has always been my way to express myself and raise awareness for issues I see in the world. I hope when people see this piece they share my worry for the future but also hope that we can make a change together. This piece is a still life that shows a forest fire In a jar with a butterfly trying to escape but getting melted by the flames, on the side is a dollar bill getting burned to show how corporations benefit from greenwashing and lying about their stance on climate change.
