Climate Hero: Elizabeth Wathuti
Reflection

My art work is called "Right in Front of Us". It was inspired by Elizabeth Wathuti, who has planted so many trees to help climate change. I made this drawing to emphasize the real problem of the world that many people don't see today. My message to the people viewing my artwork is how a small act can help this climate crisis. In my drawing, a little girl is planting a tree on one side of the forest. The other side is barren, with smoke, dried up grass, and no life whatsoever. The piece suggests that by doing a small act of compassion, anyone can have a great impact of our world.
