Reflection

Using the motif of an hourglass, I wanted to depict how the changing climate and the worsening effects of the water rising have affected the local homeless population in my city. The local homeless people have had their homes destroyed in the summer due to the worsening tropical storms and flooding seasons, and in the winter have frozen due to the longer winter periods and downpour of snow. Like the ticking sands of an hourglass, eventually this situation will pile up and we will slowly lose our remaining time to fix this problem. It will grow worse and the ones affected the greatest are the impoverished and vulnerable if we do not act on this situation soon.
