Reflection

I remember the first day this project started. It was when we were on the seventh grade field trip. There were so many plastic bottles and stuff and I thought, Where are the recycling bins? My art teacher and I collected the bottles that would not be recycled in the park; they would not find a way off the beach. We thought we could make something cool with these. After looking through the theme, we decided to make it about sea turtles. Sea turtles and their habitat are harmed on a large scale by plastic. Plastic harms the sea life and the ocean directly. We want to make an environmental statement with our artwork and video as to why we need to make more conscious and sustainable habits. It is up to our generation.
