Stop Pollution!

Reflection
We made this stop animation to spread awareness through our Bradbury School Exhibition about the issue of water pollution. We hope to make people realize how water pollution affects us globally in our daily lives. You can’t often see its impact but it does affect the food we eat and the water we drink. We were inspired to create this animation because many children dislike reading long texts so we thought that making a video would be an effective way to get our message across. It is also fun to make stop animations because you use creative skills and as you piece the parts together, you can see a whole story developing. To create this stop animation we had to plan out how the animation would work, then we drew the pictures needed and colored them in. Next we cut the pictures out but for the dinosaurs, we drew the legs separately then stuck them on the body with blue tack. We drew the background and made any movable details from paper. After that we started taking the photos while we moved each drawing step by step. Lastly we added the soundtrack to the animation. We've learned that water pollution has many different forms and is a growing problem across the world. If everyone is able to do small things each day e.g. using biodegradable materials and recycling their waste, then we can help save our planet for future generations.
