Reflection

My drawing is inspired by Greta Thunberg’s speech at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in 2019. Art should be a way for people to advocate for their beliefs or to express their own feelings. Adults are continuously delaying major action to combat climate change, leaving this problem for children and future generations. It often seems as though the adults are slowly waiting for innovation or some great idea to solve climate change. My drawing illustrates the concern that we will wait too long and when we really need a large-scale solution to climate change, it will be too late.
