Reflection

Creating a film about climate change specifically in our country, Kazakhstan, was deeply inspiring but challenging. Observing the impact of global warming on our beautiful landscapes, we felt the urgency to effectively convey our message. Throughout the process, we felt a mix of disappointment and hope, realizing the seriousness of the problem, as well as the potential for change. Our film aims to show how our lives and city have changed over decades due to climate change, using powerful imagery and personal opinions of residents to illustrate the transformation. Through our research on climate change and global warming, we gained a deep understanding of the complex interaction between human activity and environmental degradation. We learned about the alarming rates at which greenhouse gas emissions contribute to rising temperatures, melting glaciers, and extreme weather phenomena worldwide. Moving forward, our community plans to promote environmental conservation initiatives for collective action against climate change.
