The beauty and the terrifying. One may only see the beauty and the other see’s what’s terrifying. I want to show those who only see one or the other what the world in like from different points of view--from the air we breathe to the ocean below our feet. The clear blue skies, the warmth from the sun, and the clean air we breathe from these trees. Except, we don’t notice the factories working behind us and the pipes releasing the black smoke, into the air we breathe, and to the earth where the smoke will stay and never get released. These gases making the oceans roar and the earth cry from the warmth that it brings to us. We see animals trying to find a place they once called home but now only live to find a better place where they can finally breathe again. But we still see a clear blue ocean filled with animals left and right. To those who wonder, why the earth is so beautiful? It’s because of the life we bring. To those who wonder, why the earth is so terrifying? It’s because we can destroy it without even a look back. Where did this beauty go? Underneath this garbage and heat, there’s a small beauty waiting to be cleaned and held again where it can breathe again.
