Reflection

Animals seem to be neglected in the discussion of the climate crisis, as many people are unaware of how much we can affect animals. In fact, global warming and the rise in temperatures seem to disturb animals more severely than humans. Their reproduction, habitats, and lifespans are all jeopardized due to climate change, yet they are unable to fix the issue themselves. Instead, humans are given the responsibility and capability to protect the Earth and its species. Only by our consciousness and mindfulness can the tide be turned in the struggle to heal our environment. Hopefully, we as a society can learn to look at climate change from all angles and realize how our actions will affect much more than ourselves.
