I missed going to the beach. When swimming at the beach, I remember floating at the shallow waters and lowering my head for it to reach my ears and drown out the sound around me. I miss that feeling. While I do not go to the ocean that much, I used my past experiences to remember how it made me feel. It makes me feel relaxed. I feel as if I can do anything, it gives me freedom. I chose digital art because it was the medium I was most comfortable with. I have engaged with digital art for a long time, sometimes alternating into traditional art to use water colours. I learned how much nature makes me fulfilled. Instead of staying inside, sitting or lying somewhere, it feels more refreshing going out to walk and move your body. The ocean can drown out everything around you. When floating near the shore of the beach, you mostly stare at the sky. As water enters your ears, everything around you starts to not matter as much anymore. You don’t care what is happening around you. The bright sky and gentle waves comfort you enough to let you sleep. Let the tide consume you, let it linger for a while.
