The Ocean is Taking Over

Reflection
This piece was created with the idea of the ocean finally taking its revenge on the human kind. Now, while most creatures that live in the ocean wouldn't just hurt a human, this is set in a time where the ocean life has had enough and has decided to finally take its revenge. I created this piece by hand cutting out the octopus from nickel silver and them by soldering on the jump rights with an oxygen tank. The chain was created by jump rings, near the nose ring it is a double chain and then it is just a single chain. The nose ring its self is created with copper and silver wire that has been twisted together, then cut to size with melted ends to make it wearable. The whole piece has a nice and delicate look that is complex enough to send a definite message.
