Reflection
My piece portrays the consequences of limited recycling with a monster created metaphorically by the waste pollution in the ocean, coming alive to harm humanity. We have nonchalantly polluted the ocean with plastic waste, which generates greenhouse gasses, and now we see the negative effects of climate change. I want to use my artwork to shed light on the effects of human activity that causes climate change, and urge action to using more renewable resources and adopting wider plastic recycling.
