Reflection

One day, while walking on the beach, I saw an old man picking up trash. Curious about his mission, I approached him and asked what he was doing. He told me that he was picking up trash to save the sea animals. He explained that marine animals often mistake trash for food, which can cause them harm or even death. As we talked, I learned that this man had been doing this for years, and his dedication to the cause was inspiring. In the painting, you can see that the old man seems to radiate light as he smiles warmly because despite the hot weather, he’s doing something good for the environment and that’s what motivates him. As he picks up the trash around the beach, it seems like the sea animals swam around him to thank him for his kind actions. Through my artwork, I want people to not only know about his actions to reduce climate change, but also how important it is to take part in saving the sea animals.
