Reflection
I created this short video to present the universal plastic pollution problem in our oceans today. I do not live near the ocean but I used to, so I know what a big problem it is. However, you do not need to live near an ocean to experience pollution, it is everywhere from your community park to the parking lot of Walmart. Plastics’ hundreds of miles away from the ocean can travel by wind and air to the coast in no problem, so it is highly important that people take this issue into account. Plastic in our ocean is causing a significant amount of marine animals to die, therefore, disrupting the food chain. Little do people know, this even effects our very own meals. As you can see, this problem affects everyone on Earth, whether you live near the ocean or not. Sadly, this crisis cannot be solved overnight. We can slowly make our way to a clear Earth but only if people put in the effort to. Everyone must realize that if we continue to live this way, eventually we, and future generations, will be literally living in trash. Now no one wants that, right? Plastic destroys the environment and destroys the lives of animals, so I hope to pass on this important message to more people, and others will take part in this action as well. And never forget the most basic rule: “Reduce, Reduce, Recycle!”
