They Say There Were Such Animals…

Reflection
Humanity has been endangering the organisms living below the ocean with its pollution that causes climate change. Scientists have found many dead animals with plastic and other types of trash inside their bodies. Another common way we endanger aquatic life is through air pollution. The increase in temperature from air pollution causes the coral to die, further endangering its inhabitants. If we keep this up, the creatures we adore now will become the equivalent of dinosaurs—animals that live only in our imagination and books. Future generations may never see the beauty of the ocean for which we have grown so fond. One day, our descendants will only be able to see the creatures from the deep sea through pictures and videos. No matter how much the children of the future want to see them, it will be impossible due to our life decisions now and this annulling impact on the Earth. I created this artwork in hopes to spread awareness and encourage others to pick up after themselves. I hope we can work towards a better future where mankind and other creatures can continue to coexist.
