Trash Turtles

Reflection

I chose to draw turtles because they are one of my favorite animals, and I feel that the image of sea turtles hatching out of their eggs represents innocence, determination, and courage. However, if we don’t stop polluting, these baby sea turtles will have to go through a polluted beach as well as other obstacles. I drew this piece to show that the ocean and its inhabitants did not do anything to deserve this, and that without our help, they might not make it in the end.
