Reflection

My inspiration for this piece was based off of ocean aquariums. In the picture, it features an aquarium, with the human onlookers at the bottom, but instead of fish, it’s trash and pollution. Humans are fascinated and, and will pay money to see things like exotic ocean fish and sharks. Many don’t seem to think of how pollution could have an impact on those wonderful things. The theme of the contest, was Our Oceans, Our Plastic. We think of simple things like aquariums as our own little safe haven Oceans. Free of pollution and other hazards, but it does carry over into the world outside the aquarium. What’s the point of having these beautiful creatures safe because of us, if the rest are suffering in the ocean also because of us? That's why we need to bring awareness to Ocean Pollution. We can’t stay oblivious until it’s too late.
