Reflection

When making this creative work, I found inspiration in Wangari Maathai's dedication to environmental conservation and empowering marginalized communities. I chose to present her story through an ArcGIS Storymap with embedded images and an interactive scrolling experience which introduces the life of Wangari Maathai. I felt inspired and motivated by her resilience and determination. My message is to recognize the power each of us holds to make a difference. Wangari Maathai's story serves as a reminder that small actions can have a significant impact. I chose to share Maathai's story, because it inspires me to believe that anybody can create a sustainable and thriving future.
