Reflection
I chose to do a painting about global warming because it is really affecting nature. It may not be a problem in our daily life, but I won’t say the same thing about polar bears and animals that have adapted and live in the cold environment. To get into detail, polar bears live in the Arctic. The climate is always cold. Even a small amount of heat does a lot. The snow and the sea ice melt over time that, which results in a lot of difficulties. Global warming causes a decrease of adipose, that means the female polar bears have less fat to invest to their cubs, therefore the cubs would starve. Female bears stores fat by gaining food, but due to the increase of temperature, the food chain is disturbed, which may cause the pregnant polar bears to starve during hibernation. Who causes this? It’s us. Due to the advancement of industrialization, we harm nature by polluting water and air, causing the increase in temperature and plenty more. What we are doing right now may benefit us, but it’s doing harm to animals, and we know it.
