Being on the crew team, I have many opportunities to be engulfed in nature whilst rowing on the lake. However, I've noticed an increase in pollution and littering that infest the waters my team practices on. With this piece, I wanted to bring attention to how water pollution and climate change affects people's everyday life through representing the worsening condition of my local lake. It's important to understand how climate change and pollution affect all aspects of an ecosystem, causing much of the wildlife and plant life to wither away. Within my community, I aim to eliminate a grand majority of the pollution by picking it up, and by sharing messages about its negative affects through my art.
