Reflection

Water plays a much more important role in life than you think. It is among the vital substances on earth that are needed for the survival of plants, animals, and most importantly, humans. Water is crucial for our health, farming, industrialization, and even for recreational purposes. In my painting, I focused on showing the importance of water for earth and life. I felt like I had a connection through water and earth while painting and realized how water really brings everyone and everything together. In fact, water was needed in order for me to make this very painting. In the center of my artwork, I drew a woman to represent water and how her existence brings life to animals and plants. While working on my art, I realized that water is a constant reminder that life repeats. It’s so crazy how water plays such an important role in our everyday life, and we never notice it!
