Pop-Up Art Show at New England Aquarium’s Protecting Our Coasts from Offshore Oil and Gas Event
January 10, 2019
Boston, MA

The Trump Administration has proposed opening the Atlantic Ocean to new offshore oil and gas exploration, representing a danger to New England’s pristine and treasured coastline. Join Bow Seat at this event to learn about the proposed plan and what’s at stake for Massachusetts from community leaders and experts, find out how you can help protect our coastline, and view student artwork that brings these issues to life.

The evening begins with a screening of Working Films feature Shore Stories, a series of film shorts on offshore drilling and gas exploration, its development and production, and its impacts on local communities. An expert panel will end the evening with a Q&A session moderated by Vikki Spruill, President and CEO of the New England Aquarium.

This event is free but you must reserve a seat: http://support.neaq.org/site/Calendar?id=107845&view=Detail.
