Sophia Helena Go is a Filipino artist and environmental advocate dedicated to science-based creative advocacy that promotes conservation. She is the founder of “ArtSea Folks,” a youth organization that combines art and marine science. Through partnerships with universities, research institutions, marine organizations, and BFAR, ArtSea Folks supports coral restoration and conservation projects across the Philippines. Helena leads a team of over 100 members, curating exhibitions, designing educational campaigns, and organizing fundraising initiatives. She also contributes to research through the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet: Sun to Sea project, which explores renewable energy transitions for coastal communities and strategies to strengthen coastal resilience. By bridging marine science and the arts, Helena is committed to making environmental knowledge more accessible and inspiring communities to protect the ocean.
