Yuzuna Kudo

Yuzuna is an undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences with a minor in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). With a strong background in GIS research and a passion for storytelling, she creates compelling data visualizations that highlight the challenges facing our most vulnerable ecosystems and communities.

As a former member of the Future Blue Youth Council and an awardee of the Ocean Awareness Contests, Yuzuna is excited to give back to the Bow Seat community and be inspired by this year’s applicants.

In her free time, you can find her enjoying the company of her three cats, scuba diving, or birding!
