Reflection
Water is a necessary resource, and we need to take care of it. If we run out of water, life will cease to exist. I wrote this poem because the dangers of not keeping water clean are unfavorable. Every living being on earth needs water to survive, so we must take care of it. Unsafe water is the cause of 1.2 million deaths each year, and the numbers are rising. We need to stop wasting and damaging our diminishing water supply while we can. A simple way to help is to not dump paint, soap, or gasoline into lakes, sewers, and rivers. I want to share my voice with other young people in order to protect our future. When I was little, I passed out flyers and posters about saving our water supply, and how to not waste water. I intend to keep spreading the word, and to inform as many people about the endangerment of a clean water supply as possible.
