Reflection
Rivers have been a vital part of civilization for thousands of years, and that still remains true even today. For the people of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, the Han river is essential to their lives. The Han River possesses multiple tourist attractions including parks and ferries and over 20 bridges that connect the two sides of Seoul. Not to forget that the Han River also supplies drinking water for the people of Seoul and the hundreds of animal/plant species that reside nearby. However, the people that need this river the most are also the people that most often forget that fact themselves. They are the ones putting the river itself in danger, most of them while not noticing themselves. I wish that the people that need the river the most will step up and become the leaders of preserving the river.
