The tide is rising, I hope you noticed

People are harming our environment
And causing the climate to change
Glaciers are melting, floods a happening
People are panicking all day long
We need a carer in this world
We need a helping hand
I found person that is so very kind
He works to fix all the problems we provide
His name is Cory Yap
He helps in many ways
He educates our keiki
About climate change
With all of Mr Coryʼs help
Our planet is a better place
He leads us into a better world

Reflection
Many problems in the world are caused by us. Many people in the world do not care, but they should. People are damaging our earth, our environment, and our home. What can we do? How can we make a difference? Mr. Cory already is. He works to make our world a better place for everyone. He makes me feel like our future is slowly getting better. What inspired me to make the title of my song “A Helping hand” is that Mr. Cory is supporting our environment and is a helping hand. He is interested in making a difference in the world because he knows that our world is dying and he wants to help make the world a better place, for everyone.
