Climate Hero: Mark Lynas
Reflection

As soon as I saw this year's theme, I was determined to paint about an author who initially inspired me to participate in this contest. Mark Lynas is an active environmental conservationist who has published several books about the consequences of climate change. One of his notable works, 'Six Degrees,' explains how the Earth will change each time the ocean's temperature rises by a degree. During my research, I realized that we are not too far from completely ruining our planet, Earth. Since future generations depend on what we do for the environment, I aim to emphasize the positive effects books can have on children in their daily lives. With the help of our climate hero, Mark Lynas, ocean animals are able to thrive in their homes.
