Reflection

In my film/animation, I really wanted to highlight Kristy Drutman (Browngirl Green)'s work on influencing people of all ages and races to begin caring about the environment. It was a complicated process because finding a way to explore and express all the amazing work they do took some experimenting. After multiple storyboards and ideas that were scrapped or built upon, I created this film/editing and animation mix. I wanted to show how her platform could touch and influence people worldwide. I discovered Kristy Drutman through this project and learned a lot of new and different ideas about preventing climate change. I never realized how diversity has a part in environmental issues, but after this project, I found out how important it is. When watching this video, I want the audience to recognize and salute Kristy Drutman's work in helping to influence all kinds of people to take a stand for the environment. Kristy's work on creating Browngirl Green has inspired me to assist in spreading her words and her project.
