Project Description: My submission is supposed to represent what Boston will look like in seventy-five years if we do not try to stop sea level rise. I made the base of my project out of wood, so it could float in water. I 3-D printed many buildings to represent Boylston St. in Boston. I drew a picture of the water cycle to represent how extreme weather patterns will intensify via the water cycle. Extreme weather events and patterns will happen more frequently in seventy-five years if we do not change as a community.

Reflection
I felt urgency when I was creating my project because I realized how dire the situation really is. I felt sadness because I saw the true effects that pollution and greenhouse gasses can have on the environment. When I learned about all of these issues, I felt inspired to make my own change. The message that I am trying to show is that we need to change in Boston all around the world. I hope that my work can show people the effects that their actions can have on future generations.
