Reflection

Nzambi Matee's plastic bricks have served as a profound inspiration for my artwork. Matee's innovative bricks also highlight the economic benefits that can be gained from embracing sustainable practices. Building upon this inspiration, I aspire to launch a campaign that promotes home-cooking as a means to reduce plastic waste, particularly by leveraging the power of online recipe videos. By encouraging individuals to opt for home-cooked meals instead of delivery food, we can significantly minimize plastic packaging waste. This campaign aims to raise awareness and drive action towards sustainable practices in everyday life. Witnessing the impact and efforts of individuals like Matee has motivated me to contemplate my own role in combating pollution. It has instilled in me a sense of optimism that through collective action and conscious choices, we can work towards achieving crystal-clear oceans in the future. Overall, my artwork and campaign seek to emphasize the importance of recycling, reducing plastic waste, and embracing sustainable practices as key steps in protecting our environment and preserving the beauty of our oceans.
