Reflection

My idea originated from a volunteer activity in which I participated in to protect mangroves. During the activity, I realized how crucial mangroves are to both the environment and human society. Mangroves protect coastal ecosystems and enhance biodiversity. Through this journey, I realized the importance of the environment to the entire human society. We must step outside and engage with the natural world to appreciate the foundation of our lives. I noticed that many young people lack awareness of these issues, so I wanted to advocate for mangrove conservation. This challenging project inspired me to create inspiration for the environment and art. Through various experiments, I generated many wonderful ideas while gaining practical skills, such as using a microscope, growing plants, and maintaining ecosystems through experiments. These studies helped me better understand society, the environment, and how the world works. Inspired by artist Arthur Machado, I chose digital posters as my medium. Visual art helps me explain complex concepts to my audience, and I aimed to use striking imagery and concise text to highlight the importance of the ecosystem. My prior experience designing posters for school clubs and product promotions refined this approach. The message I want to convey in my poster design is that plants help maintain a more balanced and diverse environment.
