Diary of 2038

Reflection

I created this artwork to get people to see the consequences of our thoughtless actions. By bringing to life a page of a child’s diary from 2038, I believe that people will understand the harm humans inflict on the ocean and what can happen if we don't change our ways. I also hope to spread the knowledge I gained from researching this topic. I've learned that fossil fuels burned by humans create greenhouse gases which can cause the sea levels to rise by melting glaciers. After learning this, I've started to walk to places that aren't far enough to require the use of a car. Another action you can take to help is to switch to a car that replaces fuel with electric energy. I believe little steps we take can change the child’s diary from 2038.
