When I thought of climate change, I imagined an image of humans destroying the Earth. After my research on climate change, I was shocked by all the data and facts, and they showed me how much danger my planet is in. I began to picture and wonder what our planet will look like twenty years later if we don’t change our behavior. In my piece I visualized our Earth cracking, and we are holding it gently but compressing it at the same time, because human activities are a major contributor to climate change. The water leaking out represents the precious and nonrenewable natural resources that Earth provides us with, and it will run out quickly if we don’t take action and “fill the cracks” in our Earth. One of the major climate change effects on the ecosystem is animal extinction, and the turtle represents the lonely animals who are affected.
