Reflection

For the tell your climate story theme art contest I did a piece inspired by the flood in Auckland back in February last year. During the flood I couldn’t go to school for a couple of days and some houses got very flooded, that’s why I did a flood inspired art piece. During the process of the painting it was difficult and the time limit made me a bit worried. In my painting my message to the viewers is, that the Auckland sky tower might look like that one day if we don't stop climate change, therefore we should look after the planet. After doing research in climate change I learnt the April of 2024 was warmer globally than any previous April. To reduce climate change i will buy less plastic packaged food and throw rubbish in the right bin, at my school we are picking up rubbish and throwing rubbish in the right bin.
