Reflection
Imagining forest fires awakes anxiety, fear and a feeling of helplessness. Such vivid natural emotions appear in nightmares — not frightening, but making you curl into a ball. I tried to create this natural effect by creating flowing transitions from one scene to another, conveying a feeling of lost. Moreover, scenes with oppressive frames of fire and chaos perpetuate the feeling of being trapped in a nightmare, unable to escape. Eventually, the viewer "wakes up" from the nightmare, returning to the beginning and falling into a loop. There is an opportunity to stop nightmares (forest fires that happen all the time) — help the planet. The purpose of the video was to show not only the scorched hectares of land, but also the immensely frightened animals, which should cause a deeper resonance in the viewer and push them to action. After all, as long as there is no action, the nightmare repeats itself. In the process of studying the topic, I deepened my understanding of the connection between rising temperatures and forest fires.
