Reflection

This artwork is inspired by the beautiful piano performance “Greenpeace” by the pianist Ludovico Einaudi. He preformed this solo in the Arctic ocean to spread awareness about global warming and its impacts on the Arctic. I used this concept and created a painting and collage. The music video shows a man playing a grand piano while on an abstract landscape. I wanted to show this abstract landscape in my artwork as a giant glacier, hovering over the man on the piano. Global warming is an extremely vital issue in the world and not enough people are talking about changing for the better, so I decided to base this artwork on it.
