Reflection

Mother Nature seeks to protect her planet despite its deterioration through the climate change crisis. She wraps her arms around the dying globe in an embrace. Her embrace allows fresh greenery to flow back into the planet, covering the effects of climate change. Through this piece, I wish to show that there is hope in restoring the Earth’s natural beauty. To support Mother Nature, we could help her reverse the damage inflicted on our planet. By showcasing Mother Nature’s love, I wish to inspire others by showing them that the climate crisis is reversible. If we give Mother Nature the proper support, we could transform the trajectory of this crisis. My work was inspired by my research into the subject of climate change. Through this research, I discovered that many groups and individuals are merging their efforts to reverse these negative effects. I represented the efforts of these groups through my portrayal of Mother Nature. Through their love of this planet, these groups are able to heal this planet. Thus, I am hopeful that these efforts may curtail the damage caused by climate change and allow our planet to prosper. After learning about this issue, I wish to make more artwork demonstrating a drastic need to counteract the effects of climate change.
