Climate Hero: Vriko Yu
Reflection

Even though some marine creatures look tiny, they are meaningful and precious. Also, small, little things can significantly change the world and environment. My art piece is about the benefits of 3D-printed reef tiles. One day, Vriko Yu found that small patches of coral reefs disappeared within two months. Proving that technology and nature can go hand in hand, her company, Archireef, is now renovating the seafloor with the world’s first 3D reef tiles printed in clay. Her work inspired me and helped me understand the severe harm to oceans more deeply. I would like to warn people that we need to be aware of how critical problems we have faced.
