Reflection

We created this film to raise awareness of the consequences plastic has on the ocean. We were inspired by an event we personally experienced. Our city has recently been flooded due to a high amount of rain. While visiting the overflown lake, we were appalled by the amount of plastic floating in the water. People often underestimate how the plastic they dispose of affect the ocean. We hope to convey the severity of pollution and how plastic affects both marine life and humans. This film demonstrates how innocent marine life, such as dolphins, turtles, sea birds, and fish, have been hurt as a result of our actions. Our ignorance has blinded us, but now that we have uncovered the damage we have done we can work together to prevent future abuse.
