Reflection

Many things inspired me to create this video. Ever since I learned about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch a few years ago, I was intrigued by the large amount of trash we create, and the absence of what we do to help the growing problem. Through the creation of this video, I have learned a lot about marine life, the long lifetime of plastics, and the health hazards that objects in the ocean could have. After creating this video, my desire to help has grown tremendously, and I will think about plastic pollution every time I visit the ocean or beach. It was been wonderful creating this film and I hope I can use it to educate others about this issue in the future.
